😊 Establish a Morning Routine - Your routine supports you in setting the tone for your day. It can include things like reading a book, taking a walk, completing a gym workout, journalling, or enjoying a great health, fresh breakfast.


😊 Set the Priority for Your Day - Remember this is your day, so you have a choice to make…. what is important to you today, the must-complete items. It is important to ensure your activities are aligned with your goals and the timely actions you need to take to move forward. Your focus is critical here, make things happen, look for the high-impact activities, and monitor the distractions so you do not get bogged down in the busy work. 


😊 Embrace your Flexibility and Adaptability - We can plan our day, week, etc however this planning also needs the space to take advantage of opportunities and the challenges that may cross your path. The opportunities and challenges are all part of the journey and this is part of you accepting ownership of your day.


😊 Consider Time Blocking - Time blocking is great when you have many competing tasks that need your attention. This practice supports you in productivity and creates a sense of structure.


😊 STOP Being a Workhorse - Take regular breaks, this is both important from a mental health perspective and a productivity insight. Taking a regular break allows you to recharge your brain, and make space for new ideas and it simply gives you a break from your screen.


😊 Reflection & Celebration - this is key to creating the motivation to do it all again the following day. In a team environment, this team activity can produce greater harmony, a sense of recognition and belonging, and a willingness to go the extra step. Celebrating even small victories fosters a sense of achievement and value.
