The Rollercoaster of Life...


Have you been wanting to increase your level of happiness?


Life throws us curve balls and we often feel like we are on a roller coaster.


There are times when our happiness level is up and then there are times when it is down. There are also times when we feel like life is going along smoothly.


However, there will also be times of sadness or depression and in these times you may like to do some exploration. Temporary sadness is common and legit after all life throws us curve balls at the least expected moment.


If these negative feelings persist there is something you can do to change it and feel the upswing quickly. The chances are you want to feel happy, most of the time.


Today I share with you 7 ways to increase your level of happiness. Start today, level up, stand up, and smile brightly.


😊 Movement - Active breaks - Quick stretches or short walks during your breaks.

 Desk exercises - simple exercises at your desk, roll your shoulders, lift your legs.


 😊 Mediation - Go within and calm your breath, close your eyes and embrace the

peace. 


😊 Dance - Most people love to dance even if it is privately. Dance can put you in a happy state where you feel like you are on top of the world.


😊 Social Connections - Focus on meaningful conversations, even if they are brief.

You may even need to schedule regular catch-ups with your loved ones. 

Life often takes us in different directions until we steer it back to where we

want it to be.


😊 Self-care - Take ownership of your nutrition and hydration. Choose healthy snacks and create a bedtime routine that provides you with adequate rest.


😊 Share Kindness - Do small acts of kindness, kind gestures to a colleague, or hold a door open for others to walk through. We all need to be seen and appreciated and a genuine “Thank you” goes a long way.


😊 Go Green - take off your shoes and put your feet on the green grass. getting back in touch with nature allows you to create space to breath, think, and reflect on all the good things in your life.


No matter where your happiness level is right now, there is things you can do to give it a boost. We do not have to experience long-term sadness or a mediocre life. Make the effort to give yourself a happiness boost regularly and embrace the opportunities that will come your way.
