"Goals - A person who is confident, successful, productive and achieving their goals owns and accepts responsibility for their state of mind. They are standing guard at the door of their minds. They are mindful of the things that they let in and the things they discard into their minds. Focus - A person who is consistently confident and in a great state of mind has focus, clarity and has identified the vision they have for life in this moment.

They may not have 5 or even 10 year goals, they may have much shorter ones, however the key is they have goals. A person who exudes confidence is very well aware of what they want and they set their course to achieve it and in the majority of times they will do whatever it takes to get it. Language - A word spoken is a word heard. In the acceptance of responsibility for your state of mind you need to have a heightened awareness of how you are expressing or describing your emotions. Use words and phrases that build your confidence, not tare it down. We are who we think we are and we become who we say we are. Proximity - Have you ever noticed how your energy attracts a like minded person? Research has shown us that we are the average of the 5 people we associate with. This is a big one for us all as one of the 6 Core Needs as described by Tony Robbins is Connection, or a sense of belonging. Our mind is a powerful part of who we are and it has many options available to it to distract us.

When we set a compelling goal, identify some actionable steps and speak as if we are already experiencing the result, we are well on the way to having and experiencing a greater level of self confidence.
