My business name Stairway 2 Dreams, tells my story of self discovery. I am on a stairway that has allowed me to acknowledge my self acceptance, self empowerment and self worth. This is ultimately leading me to my dream, a life on my terms. I chose this approach 6 years ago when I started on a journey of self discovery. I had a desire to learn why I do what I do and how I can change it if I want to. I woke one morning and I penned “Stairway 2 Dreams” and underneath it I wrote “My Future”. At the time I did not know the significance of what I had written." "My desire for knowledge about my behaviour led me to study at The Coaching Institute in Melbourne.
I attended my induction weekend October 2013, within the first couple of hours of being in the room I had a light bulb moment. People in this room were talking my language, they embraced my passion and excitement, they wanted and encouraged me to share my vision for life. My vision at this stage was to learn about myself and my behaviours and how I could change them. When I shared this vision, people listened, they embraced my vision and got excited. 3 weeks later I was given the gift of redundancy and I embraced the opportunity to create a life on my terms and I opened a coaching practise. This is when the significance of “Stairway 2 Dreams” was truly embraced.
Over the coming months I gained an insight into how my behaviours and beliefs were shaping my view of the world. I became aware of my power to change my behaviour and my perception of what I was seeing and experiencing. Along with this awareness came a level of excitement and realisation that I was not alone that many people had similar challenges and they too were looking for answers. This is now my reality, my passion and as each day passes I acknowledge that I am learning and taking a step by step approach to transforming myself into the very best version of me.
I am sharing my learning through my programs and workshops. I am helping others to make the changes they desire and to create a life on their terms. My business name tells my story of self discovery. I am on a stairway that has allowed me to acknowledge my self acceptance, self empowerment and self worth. This is ultimately leading me to my dream, a life on my terms. I have been able to use my love of reading to help with my journey of self awareness and development.
